Museum: It contains precious findings separated into contents and dates, especially carved stones, marbles, sculptures, inscriptions and a gorgeous library. The traditional Gymnasium of Almiros dated at the beginning of the century is located just opposite the museum both of which are regarded as the oldest buildings, presenting the history of the area.

The local forest of Kouri:It stretches for about 1200 acres set in vast, green park lands with acorn trees surrounding it and with the traditional train travelling all along the forest. It is an ideal place where you can do plenty of things to occupy your time including small trips to the lakes and ponds, take evening strolls in the park as well as explore the nature trails. There is plenty of wildlife to see ( deers, roes, birds and so on).

Almyros Beach: It has been considerably improved over the last few years gathering more and more tourists.

The Othri mountain: It is fully covered with trees. It is a charming place, ideal for relaxing and quiet holidays, highly recommended to people with health problems.

In Almyros, you can visit the church of Agios Nikolaos, as well as the nearby monasteries of Ano Xenia and Kato Xenia.
