PELION BEACHES MILINA

MILINA
Milina was famous as a serene fishing village, but today has been established as a summer resort with cosmopolitan and active life throughout the season. However, there are still quiet and serene spots for those who seek relaxing holidays. The visitor can reach Milina either by boat or by car. The beach has regular boats which sail to other islands close by, such as Alatas and Prasouda and Baltoudiou. It is opposite Alatas island and combines sea sport with great night life. It is a perfect mooring place for any kind of boat and from there they can sail to peaceful beaches, hidden caves and desert islands with forgotten monasteries. Over the last years. Milina has become a yacht anchorage from which many boats set their sails for the Pagasific coasts, Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Evia. In the quiet bay of Valtoudi ruins of lizon, city of Filoctitis, were discovered.
